Post Orders

(Critical Member Service Officer)

Preamble. This Post Order establishes guidance to the designated Critical Member Service Officer (CMSO) appointed by an ARM-LP community.

1. Critical incidents are sudden, unexpected, and personally upsetting events that may include emotional distress, interpersonal confict, trauma, or death.

2. An ARM-LP community must appoint a Critical Member Service Officer. The CMSO should be a member of the community’s executive or govering board.

2.1 The CMSO must be intimately familiar with the stairwells, entrances, exits, and routes in and out of the building.

2.2 The CMSO must be able to respond to a critical incident in the absence of licensed security personnel or in the situation that licensed security personnel are not intimately familiar with the stairwells, entrances, exits, and routes in and out of the building.
